Thumbs up Time to gather

Just got done snapping 5 gallons of beans, picked 8 broccoli florets and a half dozen peppers. Maters are loaded for the first time, few more days on the squash. Okra, canteloupe and butterbeans are taking their time.

very cool. I did a real small raised bed garden this year. Just didnt have the time to fool with a full on deal like i usually do. Got 2 pick up loads of horse manure/compost from a friends farm and man talk about some good looking plants so far. I did some maters, some peppers, a couple squash and the kid is growing a giant cabbage for some contest at school.

2 squash and 5 florets of broccoli. Florets are looking great.......Beans need picked bad but I'm so tired. Messicans behind me were out so I strolled over to chat and one of their dogs bit me calf. Hurts like heck. The first bite was on my pants and the second tagged me good. I did give it some steel toe on the teeth after I turned around but feel like it got the better hand

First one was a tug on the pants leg, wasnt really me sos to speak, didnt think he would try again. I was ignoring him and walking casual. Got two punctures on my calf. It swelled up last night and was worried about the infection so I cleaned em real good and now its two small holes. Think the swelling was from the trauma. Owner did offer his appologies and treatment if needed. Dogs are here all the time and never had a problem. Dog just had pups but they were 50 yards away. Never seen anything like this before

Dont think it would be worth my time at all. I just let some neighbors come and get what we have plenty of. Neighbors dog saw me and came running and barking, I raised my bag of veggies and he stopped. I felt like an old woman and her purse Gonna have a talk with the neighbor soon, his son was outside and helped call the dog away but I banned the kid yesterday from coming over here so maybe next time he may just sic him on me
