Wait, do I live in north GA? Question.... How do I get to pick the company I send my money to for my gas bill? How do they determine who's gas I'm getting when it comes thru the same pipe? I can choose from GNG, Newnan utilities, scans, constellation, whoever else is trying to get up on my sack. I don't understand that. Your best bet is to pick the one with the lowest service charge, always sign for a year, never do a variable rate (always fixed per therm or straight yearly budget billing) and be willing to change marketers. The public service commission's website has a lot of marketer information.

Every marketer charges pipeline/service fees, this pays my salary but some will hide another fee for their self. That pipeline fee is what you are paying to get the gas from the wellhead in the gulf to your house.

I've used GNG for years because it is an off shoot of AGL which pays my salary but they are usually the cheapest and will always match any offer.

I've used their budget billing for 10+ years, it is tabulated from over the last 12 months usage and divided by 12 so instead of low bills in the summer and high in the winter, they are all the same.

Mine runs 48 a month and that includes all fees. It is adjusted yearly but normally if you resign, they will give a credit of some sort, mine is $5 a month


I will give you this advice, you are not going to see any lower prices to lock in that now and the next bit. With Biden killing the Keystone and oil prices driving up, natural gas WILL follow suit. They have been wanting to push up the prices over the last few years, but with the glutton of gas, it wasn't possible, but that is about to change. Supplies have slowly went down.

And yes, anywhere in GA was being supplied by LNG yesterday, whether from us, Macon or Riverdale.

I gave those numbers of what we sent out to put it in perspective. An average home in GA will use about the equivalent of 40 gallons of LNG for a MONTH in the wintertime. We pushed out 5 million in 24 hours and that was just our plant.

Ice is 14 inches thick on sides and tops of livestock drinking troughs. This is getting old. Evpected to get to up 27 today. Above freezing at 57 on Friday, first time this week. Hope I don't get heat stroke.

No freakin way... it takes 2 heaters to get my garage warm enough to work on the Camaro
