New .308

Ran across a decent deal on a Ruger American Predator in .308 so I picked it up. It was already in a Magpul Hunter stock. Topped it with a spare Leupold 3x9 I had at the house. Now if only I could find ammo...

Also, I realize the threads are exposed. I have a thread protector coming tomorrow.

I know a couple of people that own those, one shoots a .243 and the other a .270, both are accurate guns.

I had a 6.5CM once that was a pretty good shooter, but the factory stock was junk.

Not locally. I found a few boxes of Hornady ELDX loads on basspro online for $37/box.

What my homie TC said. What loads are you looking for? That’s pricey but I’ve shot a couple with the eld-x and it works well. Seems to be fast expanding about like an amax. Ballistic tips work well in 308. 110 Barnes would be smoking fast too ����

I can get you some 308 if you’re no shit in a jam for them.

Thinking about it. But thread protector got here in 3 days. Suppressor takes 7 months.

I ordered a couple boxes to get set up for season so I’m ok for now, but thank you. Hopefully all of this hysteria has settled down by 11/4 and I can get some more.
