Default Great timing
just heard from a fellow club member that the loggers are at our jasper co club going to town clear cutting the property
we had heard that they were going to cut some off THE PLACE but we didnt know they were going to start 3 weeks before bow opener and didn't know they were going to level THE PLACE!!, they are cutting everything to the dirt!!
I gotta get moving to save some stands...

Clearcuts are really great to hunt for the next few years. They cut ours late summer one year and we hammered the deer that fall out of the cut

Thats what i've always heard.. it just sucks looking at the fresh clear cut because it's so ugly

The deer on our lease traveled the same pattern as they always had. The deer will hammer any fresh growth that shows.

Really good time to look for rocks too, so I expect an invite in Jan/Feb

Same thing at our Jasper lease. Some members got out because of it. We had some awesome hunting that season and years following.
