I figure that would tear up a dog's pads after a while though. I was thinking of throwing some hydroturf or something in it.

Ain't gonna hurt yo dog's pads, my Gawd son, is he used to walking on cotton fuggin balls ??? I mean really, just how much walking/running is he gonna do in your boat ??

Hummy's right, you do KNOW everything . . .

i keep my dogs on a fuggin concrete slab...their feet are tough from it, which is another good reason to keep a dog in a kennel. if the rough concrete doesnt bother their feet, traction material in the bottom of a boat surely wont hurt them. dude, i have had hounds recovered over 100 miles away from where they were turned loose....dogs feet are made for running.

tell you what, scrammage....send me your address...i have just what your pup needs for his feet, seriously.

I ain't too worried about it. I just figured it would be just as easy to spray paint it and throw a cheap rubber pad in there or something like hydroturf. That way if she does scoot around or, more likely, I bust my azz after a couple too many beers fishing, I won't scrape my knees up and look like Hummy on a Saturday night.

I wouldn't touch it. It will be easier to sell with no modifications. You're not going to keep it long.

Your "pals" might stop, but I won't. You're just too easy a target.
