Default Dove season

Seen a bunch of doves around today. Looks like maybe a good hatch this season? I'm ready to shoot!

Had a good many the early part of June, but I think mostly because they were coming to feed on the sunflower seeds that didn't get in the ground. Hoping they show back up.

I've got 3 little sunflower patches and white pearl millet patches. Lots of doves around now. But they'll be gone soon.

2 electric fences about 3 feet apart. 1 strand of poly tape about 20" off the ground on the exterior fence. 2 stands of poly wire on the interior fence, the first wire about 18" high and the second wire about 32" tall. I cut down sweet gum trees and use them with electric fence insulators as post. My power source is a boat battery hooked to a 15 mile fence charger.

I miss remembered my wire and tape height. Here is a link that might help. http://deerbuilder.com/DB/features/f...ectricFencing/
