Default Facebook $38 a share?

Anybody going to buy some Facebook stock tomorrow? I bet it's less than 15 a share by the end of the day. What ya think Ole Red?

It won't see $15 a share tomorrow...... I don't think.
I had thoughts of buying in but seeing that its opening at its highest predicted price has made me reconsider...

Definitely look for a big drop, the question is whether a big spike happens before the drop. If I had IPO price of $38, I'd have staggered sale orders in starting at $50 and going up to $76, and stop limit orders going down $30.

Blows my mind that a friend site could be worth over 100 billion based on advertisements that no one intentionally clicks on

Facebook bought Instagram for $1Billion cash, and Instagram only has 12 total employees. How's that for return on investment?

Unless you called your advisor and put an indication of interest in by 9:00 this morning you're not getting in on the IPO. The IPO price range was $34-$38, and it priced on the high side. Missing out on this one might not be such a bag thing though....If I have had one dicussion on Facebook stock I've had a thousand, and many are thinking it's going to be the next Google, and that Facebook is their "second chance" at millions. I don't think it will be. My biggest concern is how much can it grow? Is it a fad, or is it hear to stay? GM just pulled all of their advertising because it was ineffective.

Some folks will get rich off of it, but I think most will be disappointed.

That was my initial thought. Really think this stock sale is about 2 or 3 years past its time.

Facebook has been around almost 10 years now and has over 800 million members and is growing daily. I dont think its going anywhere anytime soon.

Aint sayin it's going anywhere, but how much and how is it planning to grow? Dont see where someone could really lose any money by buying stock in them, but if this had been done a few years back alot of folks could have gotten really rich. Dunno if its got that same potental now.

Can I hold a dolla?

I'm investing in things more important than the stock market right now.

Clark Howard said if you have plenty of money to dive in head first. if you dont have money you could potentially lose, stay the hell away from it at least for now.

I think me and you probably fall in the latter category of that Im gonna pass.

This applies to any type of risk based investment
