Default New Additions To Tanners Farm

Well when i cae home today walked up my deck and herd peep peep ... Oh great apparently a wood duck thought my wood house would make a great nest for babies... Well under my house baby ducks came running out and into the neighbrs feild.. BAD IDEA.. The local hawks startted a frenzy swooping down and grabing there asses.. So I played hero and grab 3 of them before they became dinner.. I havent gone under the house yet to see the rest but they will eventually come out or the dogs will get them.. Here they are..

Also an update on the turkey eggs we are up to 8 and they keep laying them Iam going take 2 more and let momma try to handle the rest.. I put nesting material out in the pen for the rest..

i wonder if you raised them would they hang around like a true domestic duck or would their wild instincts eventually kick in and force them to haul arse???
i wonder about stuff like that for some reason.........i guess because i don't really know the answer.

Man, it seems way too early for the woodie hens to be laying, much less having chicks already hatched. Nice looking group though, hope they stay healthy for ya.

y'all remember when Skip thought there were too many sub forums on Skips so he only kept 3 open. then he hired me, gimp, and limhanga as moderators. That was dumb.
