Winchester Supremes have been putting turkeys in my freezer for a long time.

I never had a problem with the Fed Premium copper plated loads I shot. But... those heavy loads are a world apart!

When I started out turkey hunting I shot 12 gauge, 3 inch, Federal, 2 oz., copper plated, 7 1/2 s. That would hammer a turkey at reasonable distances. They quit making them. The Federal Heavyweight 20 gauge 3 inch, 1 1/2 oz, # 7 will probably kill them out to 50 yards although I hopefully wouldn't take that shot,it's good to have that insurance on a miscalculation. The penetration of the tungsten is out of this world. For as many shells as you shoot during turkey season, when you're looking down your barrel at a gobbler, is it worth $4.00 when you pull the trigger? Yes!

Just picked up a box of my Federals for $15 yesterday, plus Federal has a $7.50 rebate. That's only $7.50 for 5. Suck it lead shooters.
