Default Fishes

Hit the landing a little after 1 and met some stiff wind. Got a little wet heading out. Took a little while to find the pattern but find it we did. They wouldn't touch what I had been catching them on. Last keeper trout measured 24". With daylight still a plenty we decided to try a red fish hole. Kept two Red fish at 25 and 19". Let another go that was barely in slot. All caught on top water and missed several other good blow ups. Fun day on the water

Thats a helluva trout. Biggest we caught last week was 25 inches and weighed 4.5 pounds.

Good eats, grilled reds and fried trouts

Got out mid afternoon today. The bite was slooooowwww. Lots of wind. Managed a few keeper trout, a short red, and this slot red
