Default Slick Trick Owner Passed Away

Saw this on another site....

Quote:
We here at SLICK TRICK are sad and deeply grieved to inform you of the passing of Gary Cooper the designer and owner of SLICK TRICK broadheads on Friday, September 6, 2013. Gary had been ill for some time and his body finally gave out. Gary’s legacy will forever live on in his revolutionary super short broadhead design.
Gary had two main goals in business. One was taking care of people. His policy was you take care of the people and you will always have loyal customers. He also followed that policy with his employees. His second goal was to make high quality products that the everyday working man can afford. He did both of these things well.
We want to assure you that the company will continue with the same principles that Gary has set forth. SLICK TRICK broadheads will continue to be produced with the same quality you’ve come to expect. And of course our top-notch customer service will also continue.
We do ask that you please give us time to grieve and deal with the passing of our friend and mentor both emotionally and on the business front. Please keep
his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.

I talked with him personally on the phone, great customer service! I broke a slick trick years ago, sent him a photo of the broadhead and he called me up!

Sent me a new pack that week!

Sad to hear.

I talked with Gary several times over the past few years. Always very nice and courteous. He always seemed to keep the consumers concerns as a top priority. As Tom said, Great customer service and always a nice guy to talk to. RIP Gary. I'll be using Slick Tricks again this year as I have in years past, and i'm sure for years to come

Yes sir! I'll be using them again this year. I used them years ago and switched to Muzzy (cheaper) and fly the same as ST. Now ST and Muzzy are about the same, so I went back to ST this year. Just put them on last night and made a few shots, dead on!
