Default Duck hunting Saturday

Went up to the camp friday and did a few things before dark and just messed around a little.. met up with Travis (Bowhunter24) at 5:30 saturday morning to hit the wood duck hole on the RR tracks.. We set up on the RR track side but questioned if we were on the correct side of the hole since they clear cut, we were concerened the ducks would fly out the clear cut side and not the RR track side like they did last year,, and sure enough,, come day light.. out through the clear cut they went We walked the edge of the beaver pond and jumped 3 geese.. unloaded the guns on them and they laughed at us
Jumped 3 woodies that circled back towards us and I dropped one
Set up in the sweetest looking woodie hole for the evening and had 6 fly in ,,, I folded one but could not find it the others got in to the tree tops and we couldn't get good shots on them..
All in all I have a great time and will be buying me a set of waders.. a GOOD set with a lot of insulation in the foot area and shell holders built in.
