Default Almost that time

Should be fun the next several weeks!Ton of scrapes in the woods, stands in place and mature bucks on camera. Now just need some time to chase them. Hitting it hard this weekend and several days the follwing week. Then its on from the 30th- Nov 13th. Will be in the woods all of those days except 1 or 2 days. Headed up to Indiana to hunt a new farm on the Ohio River from the 6th-13th! Fun days ahead

The two hunts I planned on in November fall on the same weekend this year

Just ain't got it in me anymore to "hit it hard". I'll be surprised if I hunt anywhere but Dalton Utilities in two weeks. The good thing is, should be prime time there but I'm busting the first doe or two I see regardless. I need meat

Good luck quickie

Quickie, I thought you were going to Missouri. Thinking I'm leaving out on Sunday the 1st to hunt.

When the Indiana tract became available we decided to get it since it was a lot closer, more land and has a house on property for us to stay in Farmer has some great bucks on cams Looking forward to it. Your Iowa hunt is something to remember for sure. Still on my bucket list

Plenty of time to cover your truck in camo wrap, stickers and pick up a flat bill hat to wear after the harvest.

Will you guys be doing live from Da Treez?

I plan on starting a thread to give me something to do during those uneventful times in the stand 4 of us will be hunting and one of the guys is my friends 14 yr old son who has only killed 1-2 deer with a bow. His Dad rewarded him with this trip for making all A s last year. Going to be an interesting week. Some thick woods on the tract we are hunting for the Mid West. Corn is cut and beans come out next week

This was a pretty neat pic I captured this morning of a spike in the food plot. I saw total of 10 does and 1 spike this morning. The spike was the only one in the food plot. All the does were feeding on acorns in the hardwood bottom behind me. It was an enjoyable morning. I'll be back in the same spot in the AM.

Yeah, I hunted it last Sat afternoon. Had a little 6 come in on the outskirts but not in the field. Ive planted that food plot every fall for the past 6-7 years and it's been a pretty good spot morning and afternoon. This year I planted a summer plot and now a fall/winter plot. They are eating it pretty good but mostly at night. I've had a timed feeder on the edge of this food plot ever since deer season ended last year. I've been putting the corn and high protein feed to them pretty heavy.
