Default Gravely mowers?

Anyone have any experience with Gravely mowers? Looking at a 52" ZT-X with a Kohler 25hp locally. Seems to be a good unit for the money, sub $3k. I've got about 2 acres to cut now, all pretty flat.

I bought it. Nice mower. Should do good. Most affordable one I could find with a welded deck.

My cousin runs the commercial gravely mowers for his lawn service. He likes them. I don’t have any experience with the residential zero turns.

I was looking at the Kabota, Gravely pro turn 160 and a Hustler X-one zero turn. I ended up going with the Hustler because it was a heavier machine and had bigger tires - hopefully this helps with the hills I have to cut.

All the reviews I've read and watched on the Gravely and Hustler were good so you should be happy with that mower.

I looked at the pro turn, but really didn't want to spend that much $$$. I got the base model gravely, the ZT-X 52" for right under $3k. My yard is about 1.5 acres and completely flat. I was able to cut it in about an hour with no issues.

That's cool. For flat land that would work perfect for you.

I have about 2.5 acres all on a hill, I was afraid if I got the base model I would burn the pumps up in a couple of years that's why I went with the commercial model - time will tell if I made the right decision

I’m about to pull the trigger on a Kubota z241 52”. Got a pal that works for Kubota and can get me his friends and family discount. 10% off dealer cost.
