Just started a couple years ago, first real hunt was the weekend Ryano killed his Screven County gobbler.

Been a few times with Broadhead, and GatorB....and a couple times by myself.

Haven't had a lease with turkey on it so have relied on the generosity of the ones that have taken me hunting.

Have a lease this year with turkey birds so hoping to drop my first one this year.

Nope...they took me as an opportunity to introduce me to the sport of turkey hunting.

It was their pleasure.

First bird I ever killed.. I'd guess I was somewhere around 15 years old.
I belly crawled through some sage brush and bush whacked him with a .22 rifle (I hope the limitations is up).
Took a few years off and start killing them the right way when I was approx 20 years old. I'd GUESS
I've whacked about 30 over the years. That's about it.

I'm 40 and I shot my first bird in the spring of 1987. Up until 2006, Turkeys were just something I hunted between deer seasons. I'd hunt them every year and I had some success, but didn't really hunt them as hard as I do now. Something got into me that spring of 06 and I began to really hunt turkeys a lot harder and put a lot more into to it. Now Turkeys are my Favorate.
