Default Golfing

Man I despised gold my entire life..........really never played it until the this virus.....

Buddy gave me a set of clubs and I picked up a few used ones in Augusta yesterday.....played 10 times in past 8 weeks......

Played Waynesboro Sunday and Monday of this week........got my first par! And the front nine was a 48!

I went from not even hitting the ball two months ago.....

This aint easy.............fun for sure!! Golfers are some beer drinking funny suns of beaches!! Almost always busting somebodys balls!

I've tried golf. I'm not great at it and have too many hobbies/too little time. I'd rather focus on the things I enjoy more (like hunting and fishing) than running around and hitting a ball into the woods.

It can be fun and it can be maddening if you take it too serious.

Golf is like bowling for me. I suck for the first couple holes (frames) until I get a few beers in me and get loose. Then I'm really good for a few holes. Then I get drunk and suck again.

I played for a number of years, off and on. Had a few good rounds over the years, but mostly sucked, hitting the occasional good shot. Gave it up due to cost, and most of the people I enjoyed playing with quit also for one reason or another. Enjoyed most every round I played though. It’s good basic exercise if you can afford it.

I used to play a little, but figured out to get really good that it takes a lot of practice, a lot of playing and a lot of expense to do both.

I would get decent during the spring and summer and quit during deer season and have to relearn the next year. Finally got on a really hard course and decided that I didn't like golf anymore and vowed to never play again and I haven't.

I have a lot of friends that play and they love it. Some can't break 120 and others are 1 and 2 handicap but most are low to mid 80 players. They do invite me to their 2 tournaments a year and I go hang out every once in awhile at the tourneys to drink beer and socialize. I have been known to be a caddy for a round or 2.

I'm a better caddy than a golfer.

I play once a week but usually only 9 holes I actually have an official USGA handicap. LOL I was Low medalist on my high school golf team with a 12 handicap. Now add 35 years and I’m a 15 LOL Go figure I played 18 last Sunday. Had 3 birdies but had 3 bad holes. Two triple bogies and double. I hate 1-2 bad holes a 9 because I get ticked off after a bad shot and then can’t recover
