Default Furniture shopping

I never thought shopping for a new sofa would be so damn hard. How do you know what is good quality and whats not? The one I have now was a cheap one, paid around $600 for sofa and recliner,,, lasted me about 3 1/2 years.. it's beat down, no support in the cushions, you can actually feel the springs trying to go up your ass.
I want one that would last longer than 5 years.. figure i'll have to spend $1000+ to get a good one.. BUT, what is a good one? How do you know? I always thought La-Z-Boy was a good brand but they come in on the lowest scale of consumer reports.
Here's a link I found that seems to be helpful in rating quality http://www.furnituretoyourdoor.com/b...niture-brands/

We bought leather La-Z-Boy reclining sofas about 3 years ago. They've held up "ok" but not as well as I would have hoped. Definitely showing some wear.

I'm in the same boat. Wife wants new sectional for Christmas. I have researched until I can't read anymore and still don't feel any more informed than when I started.

I like picking up free ones when folks get evicted. Specially in the hood. They got some good shit. Gotta fumigate for roaches and degrease it is all.

You women need to take your Pinterest topics somewhere else. We don’t know about couches, makeup or purses. This forum is for lying about your hunting prowess and asking for advice on tires and trucks, then not following said advice.

*I forgot to tell you Frankie but I did get the electric Polaris Ranger. I like it. Good luck on your couch. I don’t know how you can really tell quality of much anything these days.

I'm pretty happy with the Bad Boy,,, Just have to keep in mind that an electric is a special use thing.. not going to be doing any high speed trail riding
