OK. My Dad and Mom have always hunted together. She was raised on a farm with 4 brothers so she knows her way around hunting and guns. My Dad and Mom met in college and she was the one that got him into hunting.
I first started going with them when I was 13. Until them I had squirrel and rabbit hunted with my Dad. They would always leave me with my Grandparents when they would go on their hunting trips, which I didn't mind because my Grandparents are the greatest.

I was 15 when I shot my first deer. That morning the deer had not moved and my Dad would always make a drive in hopes of running one past me. This morning was my morning as two does came running by me. My first shot missed and for some strange reason the deer just stopped. I didn't miss that time. It was one happy morning except for one fact. On this trip my best friend( My Mom) had not came with us. Other than that it was a day I will never forget. I have been hooked every since.
Last season I met a young man that is teaching me to shoot a bow. I hope to take my first deer with a bow this coming season.
