Default Deer story

Took week off been hunting ducks and deers everyday. Had a buddy with me this morning. He wasnt seeing anything so i seng him a pic of a buck on cam close to where he was sitting at 930 am. I went for a walk in a pine thicket around 1030 and saw a buck horning a tree up wind of me. I knelt down and he was headed my way. Walked within 30 yards of me so i blasted him. It was the same buck i swnt him a picture of . Thought it was funny. The end.

Deer arent quite rutting here yet. Another few days and it should be getting gooder. Shot 2 deers and a couple good duck hunts so far.

Congrats! Rut here just keeps going. LoL I've literally seen bucks cruising or chasing does every hunt I've been on in Nov. Had a small 8 scent trailing a doe this am and another out cruising. One doe was snorting at the buck

Been seeing bucks cruising. Well maybe they were just walking around being deer but I will ask the next one if it's cruising or just walking around doing deer things

Ahhh.... tales of cruising bucks, receptive does, and hunters in fine wool garments braving the elements to do battle with antlered with beasts of the timber........a fine story it is. Perseverance of a strong willed hunter to persue and harvest his quarry is the stuff of outdoor legends.
