Default Looking for a Remington stock

Looking for an aftermarket stock for a 700 ADL LA. Anyone got one laying around?

I've used these on several rifles. They work well and can be removed with little to no residue

Painted the factory for now. Probably going to pick up a Bell & Carlson at some point.

Picked this up at Academy for $330 after rebate. Timney and Leupold VX3i coming this week.

That looks good.

Can someone explain what changing the stock does? For looks, accuracy, weight? I see people swap all the time, I've just never thought of changing one.

All of the above. The tupperware stocks on most production guns now are junk.

The Remington might be acceptable but my Ruger American is total junk. I can squeeze the foreend of the stock and make it touch the barrel.
