Default New toy

After a long search for what would hopefully be my last hot rod project,, it's been 32 years since i've played with real cars and real horse power.. .. I think I may have done it... I Bought this and brought it home today.. 850 mile round trip but oh so worth it. Blew my original purchase budget by a few but what the ****.. it's only money and i'll make more tomorrow.
1968 Camaro RS
454
4 Spd
Power steering
Power brakes
4 wheel disc
This is going to be what I figure will be a 10 year project to do all that I want to do as funds allow... and my daughters inheritance

Thanks guys.. It's what i'd call a fifty footer.. looks great from 50 foot but you get closer you can really start picking it apart.
The seller had it for 2 years and had little things done, all bolt on engine stuff. He had triple bypass surgery in May and it hurt him to use the clutch ( i can relate).
Anyway, It needs a lot of body line massaging, engine and wiring clean up.. and all sorts of goodies to make it "mine"
For now i'm just going to drive it, get used to it and learn it overall then make some changes this winter.

Nice! Im a 69 fan the most myself because that was the year I was born and I like the body lines a little better but 67,68 and 69 were the best years of the Camaro, ever. Congrats Poo Poo. Youre gonna enjoy that bad boy

awesome car, I love the gen 1 Camaro. My favorite body design of all time! Have fun fixing it up. Id find a true to the era 396 and put in it just because I'm a purest when it comes to hotrods and the 454 didn't come out till 1970.
