Default St joe bay

I don't but any of you d bags know much able it it but I'll try anyway....
Headed down for a family vacation. I've fished out of there in St. joe bay and Indian pass in the spring and fall but never dragged the boat down in the summer. I have a 17 ft key west, planning on doing a few mornings before its beach time . Should I be targeting anything in particular? Any advice for some summer tactics in and around the bay would be greatly appreciated.

heres a few spots to try for trout and reds, the grass flats out in front of the sunset costal grill are good if the water aint too warm, the bomb holes on the back side of blacks island are great just be careful of low tide, gets mighty shallow in there. and fish the buoy line out twards the end of cape san blas for kings and Spanish mackerel. good luck and have fun!

tyndall.isportsman.net

Tyndall AFB for Crooked Island. You can get they from the bay. Lots of flounder, reds, trout and can hold tarpon. Shit ton of big sharks too...especially at the mouth. You can trailor all over. Indian Pass for tarpon. Short ride to Appalach. You can launch at Pressnels, Port St Joe either in town or under the bridge. You also can use the st park at the cape. Sky is the limit. Look at the #s on Mexico Beach Reef Association. Might can get some close #s for snapper. We've caught a ton closer than you think.

Catch some ladyfish, filet them and use cut bait. Everything will hit cut bait.

I'll be in Steinhatchee in a couple of weeks
