Default Thought I'd found the Tract

Thought I'd found the tract to start a small club. 2 miles of Oconee River frontage in Wilkinson County. Told landownef I'd have him a check Monday. Then the owner son in law tells me You know Dad had all the timber cut 2 years ago except the hardwood near the river and small lakes. he said its 5-10ft tall of the thick and nasty. I'm still going to check it out and see if they left enough places with trees to bowhunt. Im sure it has hurt the turkey but I'd imagine it's still holding ducks and hogs. We will see

Sounds perfect, especially if he will let you clear a few areas for small plots and shooting lanes

I would guess Quickie is wanting "paying" members.

They left maybe 30 ft of timber along the river but literally 400 acres of head high thick nasty cutover with very very few trees

It had a 400 yd sandbar that was like having your own beach

Kyle and I went and looked at it today. The 17 acre lake had several 10 ft gators right behind the cabin. Can I count on you for 700 for your membership. Your kids will love the river

Yep, have not decided if I want it. It's not going to be good for turkeys at all but for kayaking, and fishing and ducks it will be a paradise.

1 17 acre oxbow lake holding the gators. Cabin was on stilts 30ft from Oxbow lake. 2-3 other water areas 3-4 acres in size but we didn't have a 4 wheeler with us to access them. They were in middle of cutover in areas they left trees. We didn't take any picsWe both left our phones in the truck but I have an aerial I can share. Just remember the timber in the pic in mostly thick cutover
