Default Magroins turkey journal..

Almost hit 12 with my truck so far, and almost got one with my yak paddle as he flew over. Turkey hunting is such a challenge!

I love turkey hunting. The calling...the rush...Just don't care if I shoot one. I would rather Call, and or film it.

The ones I shot...I scalded, and cooked whole. They weren't too dry, and they had good taste, just a little grainy. I know most people pop the breast, Just makes me feel a little wasteful. The last one I shot..I cooked the breast, and make sausage out of the rest. It wasn't bad. Them thangs have got some nasty guts..lol
