Been tired of him. Initially I liked the idea of the option coming to town. Thought it was a good form of offense for a team who wouldn't be recruiting the elite players into the program. I didn't follow him at Southern or Navy other than I knew what he did for Southern and had Navy with a winning record for a service school. After watching a couple seasons of how dead set he is on only running the ball and having no idea how to teach a QB to throw I am tired of watching the team be down late in the game and "forced" to do something they have not perfected. I've watched too many times GT get down, and still be in a game with the opportunity to win or tie only to watch a flailing QB and WRs try to piece together a final drive in an aspect of the game they suck at. Its a one dimentional offense that a team with bigger better athletes, and just a little discipline, OR a team with crappy athletes and ALOT of discipline can contain. Sure I know Nesbitt went down and probably is what killed the season, but he wasn't even CPJ's recruit and his recruit came in and couldn't do jack chit. I'm done caring about what GT football does as long as he is there. And i have been since last year.

Reggie Ball > CPJ

And he won't be able to recruit much better talent to that offense....it's too limiting. For all his faults, Gailey brought in some good players.

Hmmm....that reminds me.....

Dear Techies:

How does that loss to UGA during the regular season feel after tonight's revelation that UGA is, indeed, a sucky team?

Sincerely,

leadoff
