Default Lacrosse Alpha Burly Sport Rubber Boots

The last pair I bought at BPS three years ago were coming apart at the sole right out of the box. I returned them and bought another brand of boots which now need replacing.

So, this week I decided to give the ABS boots a second chance. Cabela's had a good sale on them. I've owned two pair in the past and 13s have always fit me perfectly.
Well, now they apparently run a size smaller than advertised. The 13's were way too snug and Cabela's does not offer a 14.

Yep! I discovered the same thing a few years back and gave them away. They also don't make 1/2 sizes, which means I had to get a 10.............which is a little bit big.

Try shoe goo for the soles, thats what I did.

Those boots were returned immediately three years ago. I used shoe goo for my last pair of rubber boots. The stuff works.

No more Lacrosse rubber boots for me ever. Last pair started splitting after 1 season.

I bought the UAs with neoprene during bow season...so far no complaints. But they don't have a ton of miles on em yet. They are very comfortable though.

I've had no problems with my Alpha Burly. Well over 200 miles in them including Canada bogs with zero issues.

Were they cooler on your feet as opposed to the ab's.

There is nothing "Cool" about a fully water proof rubber style boot. I don't turkey hunt in my UAs, I only wore them during bow season and then until I needed my warm Danners. They did keep my feet warm until it got down to the 30s though.

I was done with Lacrosse...about to buy a pair of Mucks. They were similar enough and looked well made so I gave em a shot. You know I already love almost everything UA I have tried, so I gave em a shot. So far so good. They served me well during deer season.
