That is really not a bad price for a high quality boot. I have come to realize in the past few years that you really do get what you pay for in footwear and taking care of your feet is important.

They come with an extra insole to allow air for warmer weather.

I've been shopping for boots. Looked at some Keene's and Merrels online last night. I really like the looks of those. I need to check to see how many cabela's points I have. Not $100.00 bucks worth I know.

They make a great boot and worth the money. They are known for their mountain boots.

i would prefer non insulated, but those are dandy boots, tom. bunyan, you are correct about the footgear. a soldier is only as good as his feet. for people that balk at spending good money on footwear, i say, ya dont know whatha hell your talkin about...

right now i am two years into a good pair of high end vasques...they are just now getting broke in good. got a good pair of chippewas that will last another two years, i've had them for three. folks laugh about dropping a measly couple hundred bucks on boots, and i wear mine longer than you could wear out 5 pairs of cheap-azz boots. they just wear better, longer, and dont leak. worth every penny, i think. i would rather have some 300 dollar boots, and a 50 dollar single shot...than, a 300 dollar shotgun, and some 50 dollar boots. when your feet and ankles give out, the hunt is over...
