Probably not...but I had no problem puttin about 2k into the one I built. I might do that again.

I should take my scope off my Browning, put it on Cody's gun and put the Leoupold on mine. LOL I have a Tasco and it has killed many a deer

Leupold is selling off all the old models because they are coming out with a new design for the VXII most all dealers have them on sale. Natchez has them for the same price. Go with the Leupold for your sons gun it will last him a lifetime.

Chris is sadly mistaken. You could get a $49 scope at Walmart better than the ProStaff.

Bought the VX11 locally. Got a good deal and they will mount it, bore sight and provide service after the sale. I'm was willing to paY 30 more than Cabeals price for that
