Default How do you preserve your mouth calls?

Just as it says, How do you preserve your mouth calls from year to year? I always soak mine in mouth wash after every outing. But how do you store them from year to year so they're still usable?

Put them back in the mouth wash or throw them away and start with new ones.

Clean, stick a toothpick, put them in a round electrical tape container and store in the refrigerator

This. I get several seasons out of a 5 dollar mouth call and don't do anything to them other than take em in and put em back in a little container in my vest

Read post 8, and post 7, and post 5. Calls aren't too awful important. Turkeys have adapted.... They don't do what they did 15 yrs ago for the most part. Not at least here in ga. Best be on your toes, mobile, think outside the box. Sneaking, crawling, ambushing. Nowadays if a man hwo has a job and only gets to hunt a day or 2 a week can put 3 in the freezer, then he's a pretty good woodsman and hunter
