Question Ditch the Dish....

So, I have Diirecttv and I don't watch much TV at all...........my kids hardly ever watch it...........my wife almost never does!

But, I do like to crawl in bed at night and watch an hour or so......

I have an old tv............25 years old in my room.........

If I change over to WIFI, Netflix, Hulu, etc.....I know I'd have to get a new TV....

How much does it cost for Hulu, Netflix, etc??

Been there, done that, got the t shirt.

I wouldnt have DirecTv if someone else wasnt paying for it. Glad to be out of that trap Thats what pisses me off about satellite and cable companies. They can offer all these wonderful deals to new customers and those threatening to cancel but fail to do so to those most loyal to them, unless you threaten to quit.

I did the same and they only lowered my bill $5 a month for 3 months... Need to try it again now that Direct TV is in the neighborhood. I’m pretty sure I called back when they were holding a monopoly on the market.

Get you a firestick, Netflix, and a new tv hdmi ports. You can upload apps to the firestick that allow more tv viewing and also Firefox that can be used to watch You Tube. Netflix just uped their game and will be bringing out a bunch of new stuff. We all know how big Amazon has gotten. I believe Amazon, Netflix, and You Tube will be the future of television.
