![]() Going to visit daughter in Greenville area, wife wants to see Charleston some. What would you fellers recommend a dog chasing desert quail hunter go see in late May? I personally have no use for the beach/ocean, paralyzing fear of the water.
Thanks |

![]() Lots of cool places in Charleston......bars, breweries, and eateries! Great little town....ghost tours are pretty cool at night.
Take a trolly tour during the day if you like historical tours... Lots of good seafood joints as well....... |

![]() My wife and I went 2 years ago for a week. Looking forward to our next trip down there. I swear I ate so much seafood that I swore it off for a month afterwards.
We did the harbor and carriage tours as well as Patriots Pt. We did more eating than anything else lol. We ate at the following places, Pearlz, Halls Seafood, Amen St raw bar, Reds on Shem Crk(get a seat on the pier bar and watch the yachts come in and go out the canal)., Hymans, Hanks, and Swampfox(this is the restaurant at Frances Marion motel where we stayed).. ...we basically skipped breakfast other than coffee and eat a early lunch and then dinner.....most places opened at 4 and were packed by 6 so we tried to get there by 5. All food was incredible. We went the week after labor and it was busy. there was an old carrier parked out in the bay that you could tour, we didn't get a chance. Also wanted to do the ghost tour but ran out of time.
