Part 2

Had another reaction 2 weeks ago. Lips, tongue and face swelled in about a 30 minute span.

Been to the Urgent Care, regular DR, Allergist and have 3 more appointments in the next couple of weeks.

Allergist ruled out food allergies and now I have to have a blood scan, she is thinking it could be a reaction from a tick or a delayed reaction from a tick.

Sucks cause they advised me not to be off by myself. I just wish they would figure something out. They told me to take a double dose of Zyrtec every day and to keep my epi pens on me all the time.

Hope it turns out to be something minor!

Just swell up like Bubba Gump, they gave me two hits of epinephrine, benadryl and steroids and I am normal in about an hour.

I won't be by myself at the plantation, so no worries there, but I do appreciate the offer

I'm still on to pick you up the morning we leave right? I'll bring some Benadryl and a spare rifle just in case.

angioedema??? Friends wife gets that once in a while and it sounds similar to the symptoms you described. Have they mentioned providing an epi pen?

Yeah, so far that seems to be the diagnosis with no known trigger. Yes, I have to keep a pair of epi pens with me.

Would only need one pen if you would lose some weight.

Be careful with it and hope they figure out the trigger.
