I've got a friend that has a lot of blueberry bushes, and they're loaded too. I finally got around to transplanting some of the chutes from his, and they're all looking pretty good. Maybe in a couple of years, I'll have my own, but until then, I'll keep picking his.

The ones my buddy has, are about 35 years old. They're about 10'-12' high, and there's probably 40 bushes. An 8' step ladder is 2'-4' short from the canopy, depending on where you place it. I'm thinking there's 5-6 different varieties because some will begin ripening at different times & he has them all the way until frost gets them. One day, I'm gonna get a bunch of chutes, & load my place up over here.

I oversee about 6k aces of blueberries for work. They have been picking in South GA for about 3 weeks now in some places. At $28 a flat I wish I had about 20 acres planted.
