Thumbs up Started my raised garden this evening

Gonna be 18x18 made with 1x6's with a fence all the way around it to keep the dogs out of it. I got one side of it done today. I'll take some pics tomorrow of the progress. WOOOOOOOOOT!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is the 1st set of pics.

Getting started with the post and 1x6 boards.





Post and boards finished.







Put down lime and fertilizer on top of the poor soil before I put the good soil on top.





I bought 12 bags of top soil and 6 bags of black kow to put over the top for a start.







I still have to get lots more dirt. I'm thinking of finishing the rest of with 1/2 black kow and 1/2 top soil. I'm getting ready to head to Lowes to get some more soil. I don't think I can fit enough in my truck to finish today but we'll see how far another load of bags gets me to a full garden.

Went and picked up some more dirt yesterday evening. Was almost dark when I got home. So now I'm fixing to go out and spread some more dirt. Hopefully what I have will almost get my box of dirt to the level I want it.

Dang!!! Imagine what you could have accomplished if you had worked that hard at TTHC last weekend

Looks good tampy. it is going to take a buttload of topsoil to fill that bed. looking forward to more pics.

Last weekend wasn't meant to be a work weekend for me.
