Default Cleaning a turkey

I know you can pluck them but I've never done it. Can you just cout out the meat and not mess with the feathers? My SC lease is slap ate up with turkeys. I'm going to be up there one weekend during turkey season so just in case one runs accross the road I need a quick and easy way to clean one.

Same way, breast them out. You can make "turkey jerky" out of them as well.
