Default Anyone ever seen a Turkey that was mostly White?

Now I am not talking about a Farm Bird.

I saw this hen many times in the school yard at the school I teach at in Haralson county.

She must had a lack of pigment situation, because she had black mingled in the tips of her feathers.

Dean, there's one that visits the practice field behind the H.S. too...

Don't think it's the same one, too far apart, but that gene is out in that area...

I've gotten a few pictures around here of a white hen. One is on the lease we have, the other on a farm I hunt, and another on another farm near here.

I doubt it's the same one, but we see her pretty regular. The farms are about 2 miles apart.

My cousin, who hunts about 4 miles from here watched 3 white hens feed in his food plot one morning.

Handgunner, that closeup, looks just like the one I posted.

I have not seen that hen for several years, They clearcut the property next to the school and the Science teachers quit putting out corn.

Andy that could be her moved on down the road to the HS.
