Had one of the gobblers fly the river this morning. Saw him flying, and he landed down on the bank and then came up and popped up to my right. Caught a brief glimpse as he turned left opposite direction of my decoy. Tried to turn him but he kept going so I once i was convinced he was out of sight (could hear him gobbling as he was moved away) I got up and tried to circle him but no luck. Next trip I will be on the opposite side where he went and see if that is his morning routine and if so, hopefully he dies.

Did a little walking and calling and caught a reply to my calls. Thought it might be another hunter because they would yelp about 20 times, so I eased across the gas line and set down without putting out the decoy and called some more. Thought I heard them replying down to my left towards the gas line then these two hens popped up in front of me.
