where are you seeing that at? everything Ive seen shows it going on shore north of Myrtle beach?

I hate you might have to evacuate but Im hoping it does shift further south. We need rain in a BAD kinda way and the current path gives us nothing but hot ass, miserable and dry tropical weather with a slight warm breeze.

If you look at the overnight spaghetti models, the majority of the "noodles" (real scientific) are trending below the current forecasted path. Also the hurricane itself is tracking just S/SW of the path right now. As far out as we are, those could have major implications on where it hits...

For example, here's the overnight model of the Euro:

Also, if you look at this...since the 5am NHC update, the storm is pushing West. 4 days out and she hasn't made her turn yet...

No we're staying. All reports of this thing shifting back to the west are pretty much gone. I think Wilmington is going to get hammered.

With a very pregnant wife, we had to keep an eye on it until the very end though. We're likely not even going to get rain from it.

Same here. My step sis in Raleigh is looking at about 15 - 18" of rain though

Well I may have spoken too soon. Mets are starting to freak out because the storm has shifted south again. It’ll be interesting to see if the NHC changes their track. Figures it would shift after I cancelled my hotel room.

Well shit, maybe I have too. This is why I dont get paid to forecast weather.

Here are two interesting models we need to keep an eye on. The top model shows the storm stalling off shore around Wilmington Friday and then meandering back southwest by Sunday to impact GA and SC.

Friday

Sunday
