Default Billabow's KY Archery Bull Elk Hunt
78,000 people applied for 710 Elk tags and I finally, after 12 years, won the lottery with a Bull archery tag. In addition, I won a secondary lottery for a limited entry access area which has a lot of public land. Only 8 people won the right to hunt this area. This area is 1 hour away from my house, so I've been able to do a lot of scouting. I've scouted parts of 16 days, walked 116 miles and have seen a lot of elk. One of the herds is over 50 Elk strong.

My season started this past Saturday, Sept. 16th. After I get some rest, I'll tell the stories of my elk encounters so far.

I'm glad you got drawn. I live in KY, and I won't put in for a tag just because they won't be transparent about the drawings. When you have some guys getting drawn 3-4 times, something isn't right.
