They've cooked bobcat at several of the wildlife society game dinners and it never was a big hit. Most said it was the worst thing at the event, and this event was serving mice poppers as well!!!

Lion meat is very fine grained and has been described to me as halfway between pork and veal. The loins are supposed to be phenomenal and the shoulders and hams apparently make great bbq.

If nothing else, it will make for some interesting dinner conversations

Yeah, you can still kill it

I'm not real interested in anything like that. Just want a good representative tom and hopefully a loooong, exciting chase!

Sean,
Sounds like an awesome adventure and with a stick too...... Remember, as the client, you have the choice. If you can't get a bow shot from the ground, gain some elevation by climbing an adjacent tree or rock formation.....

I'll do everything I can for sure. If it doesn't work out though, it won't break my heart to kill one with a gun.

He ate a mudfish and thought it was good if that tells you anything....

I've actually read and heard that mountain lion is very good table fare.

He thinks Mergansers taste great, too......

But yeah, painter meat supposed to be as good as it gets, according to the old trappers.

Probably true, hell, I've eaten enough asian food in my life I'm about 99% sure I've downed a house cat at some point at it tasted like Pork, Chicken or Beef, at any point it was good.
