Yes. Cams are covered with does year round.

I am not sure...I think he is 6.5 I tracked him back to what I think he is 3.5 in 2012.

The first two pics are the big 7
The 2nd two are Shyboy, he is 5x6 this year. That's the 9 yr old.
The other front shot is the 5.5 yr old 10. Didn't get a lot of good pics of him from the cameras I pulled. He is always around Shyboy when he shows. Lackey has him on my other one but I don't have the card. I don't think he will be living through the season.

Thats what I would have guessed, but I would of said at least in front of the number.

I have odd views on old monarchs like that, if you kill him, you have killed a wary, old and smart buck, but if he has made it this long, then sometimes I think they deserve to just die of old age and in their own bed. Kind of like they win. I know that sounds crazy.

But, on the other hand, a buck that size gets me curious about his weight, especially in 2 months when he is swelled up and in his prime for the year. Looks like he might go close to 200 dressed. I'd kill him just to weigh him

This buck is not on my radar until later in the season. Only the big 10 and Shyboy will work out of the gate. I want the 9 yr old ghost. But will not hesitate to deflate the 140" 10 if he shows.

The 7 looks a lot like that freak I killed last year that was 6.5...body wise that is. And he was over 230. He was a monster. I had to call for help to get him out, and we ended up dragging him out with the four wheeler. This buck is all of 220 lbs no doubt.
This was the buck from last year.

I can't blame you, maybe one of the old fellers will see him. I wouldn't be surprised to see him put on 20 more pounds by November and outweigh the one you killed from last year!

I think you are right he is bigger than last years buck body wise. My mind may change if I see that bull come walking in. I SAY I want to leave him be at least for the first 2 weeks...but I can't guarantee I will have the will power if he strolls up to 30 yards. He is a pig. And in person I might not be able to handle it. Maybe he will stroll up on Lackey with that stick bow in his hand. Or stay away from me at least until October.
