You and your Dad should buy that tract Will. Price might be decent now that timber is cut. I found myself looking at tracts for sale in Illinois last night..LoL. The Midwest farmland is very very expensive! Most were 3k-5K per acre

He definitely goes somewhere. Up the creek and just towards the city is probably areas of safety. Probably just over a mile as the crow flies. Wherever it is...he is safe.

The 10 pt has been seen in 2013(me and Lackey both let him go under persimmons)...and I saw him last year run from the area of this camera just after season ended. I also had him on camera last year about 3 weeks into September. But then they sprayed us...he won't be so lucky this year I suspect.

As far Shyboy's configuration of points...this is the first year he has been uneven. He is a 5x6, just can't tell he has the short G5 on his left side in this picture. He was a 10 the first two years we had him, then he went to a 12. Which he has remained until this season. Always been perfectly symmetrical until this season...aside from kickers and junk from his bases that is.

He has never ever shown dominance during summer pictures over the corn. I think his attitude had more to do with why he is alive than anything else. But he definitely moves off in September. I never laid eyes on him even when he was young. He is the ONLY buck I have multiple years of pictures of I have not encountered in the woods. THAT is what gets me.

Regarding the different rut areas. Do yall get as many doe pics in this area as yall do bucks?
5xs more doe pictures. We have a bunch this year. We didn't shoot but 1 last season and 3 the season before. Better than a bait plot.

We have a boat load of deer right now. 100 lbs of corn is gone in 5 days. From 5 locations. I am getting 7500-8500 pics a week. I probably have close to 35 different bucks on camera so far. Of every age class from yearlings, 2 yr olds, a great crop of 3 yr olds, a couple 4 or 5 year olds, a 6 yr old and a 7 yr old. Then Shyboy at 9 yrs old.

We have no stand outs at 4 yrs old. The one we were hoping would show up has not yet. He could blow the doors off the 10 posted above if he comes back.

yea I was just curious because I haven't had many doe pics at all yet. Hopefully some will show up and keep a couple of these fellas around.

He seems like an odd deer for sure and it's incredible that he hadn't died yet, hope yall get to end it for him this year!

I actually like the anticipation of checking my trail cams more than actually killing them. LoL
Love weeding thru the bucks pics trying to figure out if they were deer I know from previous years. Just got all mine set up Friday and Sat so this will be a long week
