Automatics, whether shotguns, pistols or rifles.

I don't think I need to answer.

I prefer handguns, but do love shooting deer "out there" as well.

Give me a single action revolver, a quick-draw holster and a target (preferably a coke can!) and I'm a happy man!!! :11:

I like shooting both, but I actually prefer to shoot my bow.

I used to shoot a lot, but with so many neighbors now, I rarely get to shoot firearms. I used to really enjoy shooting my Ruger 10/22, I'd shoot long range shots with the .22 and that naturally helped me with everything else that I shot. No telling how many bricks I have ran through that little rifle.

Both I just like to shoot, can't really make a decision on guns, but love to shoot 3D archery courses with friends.

I really like shooting my AR15's better than my handguns. The reason why is because I suck at handguns

Shooting anything is fun, however, standing up and busting off rounds with a handgun is what gets my blood flowing.

I've been rejuvinated, too, now that I have my new glasses with the distance correction my aging 39yo eyes needed.

One of the ranges I go to has a large berm that is 150yards to the bottom it. There are generally cans and bottles along with other target material laying around on it. There is nothing more fun than to be standing back the full distance and lobbing rounds with open sights at these targets. It's a breeze to "walk" your rounds into the target and make aiming corrections at every round. One that never ceases to be fun is a little hideaway 5 shot .38Special revolver I have. Usually the first 3-4 shots get me dialed in and the 4th&5th will move the can/bottle.

A buddy and I tried this with our .45acp 1911s one time and had a blast. The rifle shooters at the range just shook their heads and laughed at us in awe...thinking we were champion shooters or something. They weren't paying attention at first, during our first two mags, where we "fired for effect" and made aiming adjustments. After that we looked like pros.

The "fun" aspect of it comes when I'm behind a handgun... I like the "precision" a rifle gives me... If it's a "competition" aspect I like shotguns...

But suffice it to say, "A suck a** day at the range beats a GREAT day at work."
