Default Dropped him off today

Just got back from taking my turkey to the taxidermist.

Going to get him mounted on a limb, gobbling.

The taxidermist had one done waiting to be picked up and it looked very nice!

I love that pose and I cant WAIT to see the finished product............he might not have been the heaviest bird in the woods but he was THE MAN! Those hooks are stunning.

still tickled to death you got him.

did you have someone local do it? i was gonna turn you on to my guy but he is a LONG ways away from you.

it seems to vary..............alot. They can be upwards of 700 bucks

I paid 400.00 for mine..........with a freeze dried head. I was VERY pleased. Its no Shane Smith mount and it may not win a contest but I would rather have the 300 extra he charges and the mount I got from a ol local that has been doing it for 30 years.

Nahh, I don't mind Frank. Honestly, I didn't ask. Expecting to pay in the ballpark of $500-$600 for him. Told him I'd bring him a couple hundred next week to put down on him.

The guy I took it too is very good and he doesn't ask for a down payment or anything. That is as long as you haven't screwed him over in the past. And neither my dad nor I has!

Took him to Wayne Kelly. His shop is 5 minutes away from my office.

Thanks Ryan! I appreciate it!
