Default Going to shoot some bows

Been wanting to try a lot of these new flagship bows from Matthews, Obsession, Bowtech, Bear, Hoyt and whatever else I can find a dealer has on their rack. I may purchase one IF I find one that feels substantially better than my current 340 which I have shot for the past 7-8 yrs. I've only shot two Obsessions. One was the Sniper GT and the other the Phoenix. Really want to try the M7z based on specs. Going to have a open mind and don't prefer one brand over the other at this point.

shoot an elite if you prefer smoothness and light holding weight if you dont mind losing a little speed. i like the hoyt nitrum turbo i have, but dang it's sitting on G and waiting on O, and will keep you honest when you pull it back.

foxhole has 2016 defiants for 699 right now.

Been thinking about getting me a new bow, but I bought a new Tikka rifle instead.

I doubt I will buy a brand new bow, I'll probably get a year old model. There is a local store that seems to cut their prices about 25% this time of year on older models. I keep thinking at some point, bow makers will price themselves out but it seems never ending increases on price.

$400 used to be top end, then 600, then 900, now 900 will get you a higher end bow but not the top end, for that your looking at 1000 on up to 1500. And in 4 years, they won't be worth 40% of what you paid.

I have less money than the top end price of a bow in new Tikka topped with a Leupold VX-6.

I've never shot an Elite because there are no dealers near me. But I've always heard great things about the 32. 699 is a great price on the Defiant. I use to be all about speed but now I just want a 330-340 IBO is plenty fast. I want a smooth draw and no hand shock or noise at the shot

Most I've ever paid for a bare bow was $600. That's my current bow the 340

Most I've ever spent on a bow was 600. That was on the Bowtech Destroyer

Got a 2016 Elite E35 that is absolutely the smoothest drawing, most dead in the hand after the shot bow I've ever shot. And fast enough. But that is my opinion.
