Post up some pics.

I have owned 3 different compound bows since 1987..........

Two of them PSE and the last one I still have is an older Bow Tech Old Glory..........the Bow Tech is a great little bow! I've never seen much difference in compounds.

There are slight differences each year, mostly in feel. If you're happy bending a branch and tying on some twine then so be it From 87 to now though is a big difference.

But honestly in the past 10yrs... of course some differences, but not enough to warrant a 1K or more price tag for a bare bow on the pro shops rack.....

There is only so much engineers can do with a bow. I think the technology is nearing a plateau.

I say this thinking about a doe I shot last year at 40yds with my old XT. I don't shoot tournaments or every day for that matter. But it was a easy shot with that bow. Other than the sight, all the equipment is original equipment. Even my old Scott's release.

Or maybe Im a badass shot??

I think the price on new bows has gotten out of hand. I know it costs money for R&D, sponsorships, and advertising, but to me, it's gotten too much.

I don't consider myself cheap, when I buy something, I follow the 2 modes of logic:
1. Buy quality Get Quality
2. Buy cheap shit and get cheap shit

With that said, I would love to have new bow, but a grand for a bare bow and 14-1500 for a rigged out bow is not worth it to me. I'd rather buy a rifle that will hold it's value. Bows seem to depreciate faster than any other outdoors related item.

But, I have never cared and never will care what another spends his money on.

All my bows were used.......and less cheap!

I'd never buy a new one.......recurve or longbow!

Stole a $1400 longbow from etter for $600!

You think compound bows are overpriced???? Look at what they want for a stick and a string
