Default You ever seen one....

with a bracket???
it sets the engine back enough to really offset the weight of someone in the front. keeps the throttle arm behind you instead of beside you and makes it easier to control

and before anyone says anything... the engine is not tightened down ... it's just hanging there for the picture

Can't say that I have seen one with a bracket like that. Sure would make it easy to steer though.

Need to get my boat fired up and ready to go.

I made a jack plate out of 4 pieces of 3" aluminum angle works great, except for hard acceleration in reverse. It will push a lot of water in the boat quick!

Had Corey with me (Kelly's son) and we did take the poles and he did catch his first bass on a top water plug and we did fry it up for an appatizer and it was good
