......October 1, afternoon hunt:....got in the stand about 4:30pm..........reeeeeeeeel quiet getting in there.......6:20pm, a big doe stands up that was bedded about 30 yards from me all that time, edge of a beaver swamp..............she starts walking towards the LOADED persimmon tree that is 15 yards from my stand.....so many on the ground, THE PLACE smells like candy.........I'm deciding whether or not I want to shoot her and bloody the area, or let her go.........she walks OVER the persimmons, crosses the creek, and heads up a white oak ridge to feed.......never even slowed down...... ....................that was it.......except for the 4 in Sara's driveway under her Sawtooth Oaks when I got home........
