Default NFA Questions?

Looking to pull the trigger on a new suppressor to use on my 6.5CR, .300BLK, and 5.56. Not sold on which one yet, but leaning towards a SilencerCo Harvester mainly because of their $200 rebate right now...

Ran across Capitol Armory, looks like they have a program where they allow you to pay in installments but start paperwork immediately. Not a huge deal, but makes it easier to spend money I won't see anything for a while on.

Any other suppressors I should consider?
Trust Y/N?
Wait time?

Why not just wait until you dont have to go through any of that BS anymore? Isnt that supposed to happen soon? Or was that just lip service?

I went the trust route before the latest changes. No idea what's best now and I don't bother to keep up on the minor details unless I need to. I hear good things about SilencerCo. I've got an AAC SDN-6 and like it a lot. A buddy used to work for AAC then Silencer Shop so I just ask him whenever I'm in the market. He now works for Gemtech and they also make good stuff. Silencer Shop is a good site to compare price and specs.

Also look at cost and availability of muzzle devices if you go with a fast attach style. Those add up when you're running multiple rifles.

I thought about the SDN-6 also, nice looking can.

I'm now leaning towards possibly the SiCo Hybrid. Mainly because I found a deal where I can buy it and get a SiCo Warlock II rimfire suppressor for free and will also get $400 in SiCo rebates. Seems like a pretty solid deal.

Can't argue that. I think a .22 can is the most fun of all.

Well I went ahead and spent my suppressor money on a splurge purchase this weekend. Maybe Trump will legalize them soon and I'll jump on one then.

Academy had a Cannon 64-gun safe on sale for $599 so I brought one home with me. With soon to be 2 little boys in the house, it was time for the guns to get locked up.

You made the better purchase. Im not getting all this suppressor craze at all. I like to hear the boom and would never go through the pain in the ass process and spend the money for one.

Now if they are legalized some day, thats different

Suppressors are fun as hell. It's nice to be able to shoot without ear pro. It's not really a pain in the ass to get them either. There's a process, but it's still pretty easy. The waiting is the worst part. I don't see them doing anything with the HPA anytime soon. People waiting for it to pass is only going to hurt the suppressor industry. SilencerCo has already had to lay a bunch of people off because of a lull in sales. I expect to see more of that too as long as talk of the HPA continues.

Scramage, I haven't really heard anything great about the Hybrid. I think it's one of those "Jack of all trades, master of none" sort of thing. I get the hype behind it but not really buying into it. As for the sale, like I said above, the suppressor industry has taken a hit. I'm sure there will be others like that.

And a trust is still the way to go in my opinion. When choosing an attorney to write it, make sure it is easy to add and remove trustees and beneficiaries.

Why the mini? They're still loud as chit. Have you shot one?

Most 556 cans are still somewhat noisy. It's a flippen supersonic round. The mini or the RC will be dedicated to my 14.5 edc. I want to keep it compact.

Piggies are very quiet. You pretty much just hear bullets hitting beer cans.

Probably the 300 with sub sonic or 22. We are talking 556 here. Keep up.
