Default Sleeping in.........

Hunted 13 times over the past few weeks..........saw one good buck 200 yards away........

So, I stayed at camp all weekend and got up to hunt Sunday morning..........was tired and kind of bummed about not seeing a deer for so many hunts I decided the quiet camper was a better place to hunt that morning........so I stayed in the bed.........add to that 95% of all my trail cam photos have been at night.

So Sunday morning in front of my stand I get these.........

You would think that.........almost all the photos in this spot have been at night........a few does and fawns come by and feed during daylight hours.......but once or twice a week. I have yet to hunt this spot simply because all the movement is at night.

Same goes for sawtooths.......I quit hunting over them because all the photos I get are at night..........been hunting funnels and travel corridors......

This is the first few pics I got of this buck...........which tells me they are starting to spread out and checks for does. I did have a smaller 8 with his nose to the ground running around on camera.

I think the heat has kept them laying low. You'll be killing a buck in the near future!

Same thing happened to me opening weekend. Sat 3 times, didn't see chit. Sunday evening, the big buck I killed the following weekend was in there around 7 pm. Bummed me out for a couple days, until the next weekend

I'd like to chuckle and call him a dumbass, but since that's the only place I hunted for 2 years plus this season and I only saw him twice, I can't give him anything but props for eluding me for so long.
